The Custom Roles feature enables logged-in admins to create and manage role-based groups efficiently, allowing them to define specific user roles and grant customized access permissions. This feature ensures seamless access management, as employees assigned to a particular role automatically inherit the designated permissions. Admins can create and assign roles, control access levels, and streamline operational workflows while maintaining security and compliance.
To access this feature, click on the Menu button or move the mouse on the left side of the page to open the Menu Bar. Click on the Manage
and then select Custom Roles option as shown below:
Add Custom Access Role
The “Add Custom Access Role” feature allows admins to create and define role-based access permissions, ensuring users receive appropriate access to specific modules and functionalities based on their roles.
To access this functionality, select Manage Custom Access Role > Add Custom Access Role screen will be displayed.
Upon clicking the admin will be redirected to the Add Custom Access Role pop up as displayed in the screen below-
The elements of the Add Custom Access Role page are as follows-

Once the necessary details are configured, click on the Submit button to save the notification.
An acknowledgment message will be displayed on the screen and the custom role will be added in the system.
Search User Access Role
The Search feature enables logged-in admins to locate user access within the QEval system. Users can refine their search by selecting a specific categories.
To use this functionality, click the Search User Access Role button located on the Manage Custom Access Role, page, as shown in the highlighted section of the screen below.
The Search Custom Access Role window will be opened on the same page. The window displays the search criteria based on which the logged-in admin can apply the search filters as highlighted in screen below-
The notification can be searched by following mentioned below steps:

Once the necessary details are configured, click on the Search button to add the disposition details.

Authorized users can view specific custom role names in ascending or descending order by clicking the button, as highlighted in the screen below-
Note:
- Click the upward arrow (▲) to sort the list in ascending order (A → Z, smallest to largest, earliest to latest).
- Click the downward arrow (▼) to sort the list in descending order (Z → A, largest to smallest, latest to earliest).
Access List
To view the list of role-based access permissions, select the Role Access option from the report, as shown in the screen below-
When the Role Access field is clicked, a corresponding Access List will be displayed, as illustrated in the screen below.
Edit Custom Access Role
On the Manage Custom Access Role page, the authorized admin can edit the added active custom roles details.
To access this functionality, click on the Edit button displayed under the Action column as highlighted in the screen below:
The Edit Custom Role window will be opened on the same page. Here the logged-in admin can modify and change the already added disposition details.
Once the necessary modifications are done for specific custom role, click on the Submit button to save the changes, or click on the Cancel button to discard the changes.
After updating the notification, an acknowledgment message will be displayed as shown below:
Delete Custom Access Role
With the Delete custom role function, the authorized admin can delete the custom role details from the QEval system.
To access this functionality, click on the Delete button displayed under the Action column as highlighted in the screen below:
A confirmation message will be displayed on the same page. Click on Yes button to delete the selected custom role or click on No button to discard this process.
An acknowledgment message will be displayed, and the specific custom role will be permanently deleted from the QEval system.
Note: Custom role functionality in QEval provide controlled access, enhancing security, efficiency, and compliance.
