Notifications

The Notification feature allows logged-in admin to manage notifications efficiently by creating, editing, and deleting them across categories like Success, Primary, Danger, and Warning. Admins can search for active or inactive notifications, export acknowledgment details, and schedule notifications using enable and disable dates.

To access this feature, click on the Menu  button or move the mouse on the left side of the page to open the Menu Bar. Click on the Manage  and then select Notifications option as shown below:

Add Notification

The “Add Notification” feature enables admins to select from categories such as Danger, Primary, Success, and Warning, providing all necessary details for quick reference. These notifications are prominently displayed on the header bar when accessing the corresponding account.

To access this functionality, select Notification > Add Notification screen will be displayed. 

Upon clicking the admin will be redirected to the Add Notification pop up as displayed in the screen below- 

The elements of the Add Notification page are as follows-

Description

Status

Choose the desired status from the available options—Success, Primary, Danger, or Warning.

Notification Title

Input the title of the notification in the provided text box.

Notification Content

Enter detailed content explaining the purpose or subject of the notification.

Select Enable Date

Use the date-picker to select the start date for the notification.

Select Disable Date

Use the date-picker to select the end date for the notification.

Enable acknowledgement 

Select the Enable acknowledgement checkbox to activate the notification, ensuring it becomes visible and actionable for users. If left unchecked, the notification will remain inactive, and users will not see or interact with it.

Once the necessary details are configured, click on the Submit button to save the notification. 

An acknowledgment message will be displayed on the screen and the report will be scheduled. 

Search Notification

The Search Notification feature enables logged-in admins to locate active or inactive notifications within the QEval system. Users can refine their search by selecting a specific category, such as Success, Primary, Danger, or Warning.

To use this functionality, click the Search Notification button located on the Notification page, as shown in the highlighted section of the screen below.

The Search Notification window will be opened on the same page. The window displays the search criteria based on which the logged-in admin can search for the specific active or inactive notifications.

The notification can be searched by following mentioned below steps:

Description

Status

Select the notification status (e.g., Success, Primary, Danger, or Warning) from the drop-down menu to filter notifications by category.

Notification Title

Enter the specific title or keyword of the notification in the text box to narrow down the search results.

 Enable Date

Use the date-picker to specify the start date for the notification’s active period. This helps locate notifications enabled on or after the selected date.

 Disable Date

Use the date-picker to specify the end date for the notification’s active period. This helps locate notifications disabled on or before the selected date.

Once the necessary details are configured, click on the Search button to add the disposition details or click on the Reset button to reset the configured fields.

Based on the selected criteria, the search results of notification will be displayed in the table grid as shown below:

Description

Notification Status

Displays the status of the notification.

Notification Title

Displays the title of the notification.

Enable Date

Displays the date when the notification becomes active.

Disable Date

Displays the date when the notification becomes inactive.

Action

Displays the available actions for managing the notification.

Edit Notification

On the Notification page, the authorized admin can edit the added active notification details.

To access this functionality, click on the Edit  button displayed under the Action column as highlighted in the screen below:

The Edit Notification window will be opened on the same page. Here the logged-in admin can modify and change the already added disposition details. 

Once the necessary modifications are done for specific disposition, click on the Update button to save the changes, or click on the Cancel button to discard the changes.

After updating the notification, an acknowledgment message will be displayed as shown below:

Delete Notification

On the Delete Notification page, the authorized admin can delete the disposition details from the QEval system.

To access this functionality, click on the Delete  button displayed under the Action column as highlighted in the screen below:

A confirmation message will be displayed on the same page. Click on Yes button to delete the selected disposition or click on No button to discard this process.

An acknowledgment message will be displayed, and the specific notification will be permanently deleted from the QEval system.

View Acknowledgement

The logged-in admin can also view the number of users who have acknowledged a specific notification. To access this information, click on the designated button, as highlighted in the screenshot below- 

The admin will be redirected to the Notification Title page, and  can export the list of user names displayed in Excel and CSV formats. To do so, click on the Excel button and CSV button  to download the report in respective formats.
